WIth this troubling case, Bergerac has to overcome his own demons and re-discover anime quiz his passion for detective work in order to solve the murder. The rebooted Bergerac works very well as a miniseries, and this series would make for a great weekend binge-watch if you have nothing to do. Matthew Goode (Downton Abbey) plays a damaged and perfectly sarcastic cop in this new series from the creator of The Queen’s Gambit. The suspense is palpable as his character investigates a captivating unsolved case that keeps viewers hooked from the start to the end of this first season, which hopefully won’t be the last of this well-crafted show. The rise and fall of the infamous narcoterrorist and drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura), is poignantly documented in this acclaimed Netflix series. Starting as a small-time black marketeer, the ruthless and persuasive Escobar discovers cocaine from an exiled drug chemist, beginning his first foray into the drug trade.
The show’s ability to balance action with heart-wrenching drama makes it one of the most anticipated shows of the year. But I’m glad I stuck with it, because the final nine episodes of this series were excellent, and if season 2 had maintained that level of quality across 12 episodes, it might be my No. 1 show of the year. I only just started watching “The Rehearsal” season 2 around the time it was wrapping up its run on HBO. I never watched the first season, and while I think show star/director/creator Nathan Fielder can be brilliant, I find some of his stuff can miss the mark. So, though I felt “The Bear” season 4 never quite hit the high marks of some of the episodes in “The Last of Us” season 2, I found it to be a better viewing experience overall, which is why it wins out in my rankings.

She has to interrogate a handful of colorful suspects —including Jason Lee as the president’s brother and Ken Marino as a shady chief adviser — and figure out who did it and why before the killer claims their next victim.

If you’re hopping on Netflix to look for the latest trending shows, you won’t be disappointed. The streaming giant has invested heavily in original content over the past decade, stocking its extensive library with shows you can’t see anywhere else.

When George has need of it for a personal reason, he may have to risk everything, including his own team, to save the woman he loves. Three years between seasons is a pretty long wait, even by streaming standards. But Jenna Ortega is finally back as Wednesday Addams in Wednesday season 2. Expect to see more of the rest of the Addams family this season, while Wednesday herself returns to Nevermore Academy.

Georgia has tried to be a good mother to her kids, but she’s left some literal bodies in her wake. After discovering that Cane and Belle made a risky alliance with drug smugglers, Harlan pushes things even further. Meanwhile, Cane’s sister, Bree Buckley (Melissa Benoist), is sleeping with a DEA agent and informing him of her family’s crimes. That may be more than enough to bring the Buckley empire to its knees.
It humorously and sincerely explores the mother-daughter relationship between its two main protagonists while addressing serious topics such as depression and self-harm. In short, a fiction that is binge-watched with pleasure, especially for its endearing characters. In this fact-based fiction, Grace Van Patten (Tell Me Lies) plays Amanda Knox, the young woman at the centre of an especially high-profile crime and punishment saga. “Many people think they know my story, but now it’s my turn to tell it,” the fictional Amanda says in the trailer. The real Knox has told her story before, cooperating with a 2016 Netflix documentary and writing two books, and it is full of twists and turns.
The series shines during the school festival, blurring the lines between performance and emotion, culminating in a memorable rooftop confession that resonates well beyond the screen. This poignant scene encapsulates the essence of their relationship, inviting viewers to reflect long after the story concludes. FUBAR is a comedy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as a CIA veteran whose daughter, he discovers, is also a secret agent. What follows is a lot of goofy family dysfunction as the two of them try to work together while juggling unresolved baggage that they can’t exactly share details of in a therapy session. Goode is tremendous in the role as the emotionally-challenged Morck, and it’s thrilling to watch this team crack open cases that have perplexed other investigators for years. If you don’t binge-watch any other show on this list (which you absolutely should), this is one you must stream.
